Christine attended Touching for Health School of Professional Bodywork in the San Joaquin Valley of Northern California and began her massage practice in 2005. She graduated from Viterbo University in 2017 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology and recently earned her associate degree for Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from Western Technical College. Christine had the opportunity to finish her PTA clinical rotation at Dynamic Performance and Therapy and joined the team in May of 2020.
By focusing on structural integration, myofascial release, and deep tissue techniques in her massage practice, the most logical step has been for Christine to integrate manual therapies (such as joint mobility and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) and corrective exercises utilized as a Physical Therapist Assistant to reduce pain and improve motor function to help clients meet their goals.
Christine aspires to help clients and patients reach their goals through patient-centered practice. She has a special interest in helping people who feel uncoordinated learn motor control and therefore improve functional movement. She is also interested in fall prevention and improving balance across the lifespan.
